Follow these steps to create persistent links to materials in the Oxford Reference database:
Start at the A-Z Databases page:
- Open the Oxford Reference database.
- Find an article on your topic.
- Click on an article title to pull up the complete article record.
- Find the persistent link URL behind the plus sign icon and copy it. Make sure you copy the entire link. The remote access proxy info is already embedded in the URL.
Then go to your Canvas shell:
- Within a text editor box, paste in the persistent link, OR
- Within a Module, create a new External Link and paste in the persistent link as the URL. Make sure to check the box for the Load in a new tab option. Why?
