Follow these steps to create persistent links to materials in the Ethnic Newswatch database:
Start at the A-Z Databases page:
- Open the Ethnic Newswatch database.
- Find an article on your topic.
- Click on an article title to pull up the complete article record.
- Click the All Options <...> icon and copy the persistent URL. The remote access proxy info is already embedded in the URL.
Then go to your Canvas shell:
- Within a text editor box, paste in the persistent URL, OR
- Within a Module, create a new External Link and paste in the persistent link as the URL. Make sure to check the box for the Load in a new tab option. Why?
