You can link to an item in the O'Reilly Online Learning database by either
- Finding the item in the OneSearch catalog, then copying the persistent link there and pasting it in a syllabus or other document. This link will route a user to the item in the OneSearch catalog first and then they must click the link for the O'Reilly database from there, authenticate, and then access the item. OR
- Copying the persistent link inside the O'Reilly database, making sure that the proxy information is included in the link so the user must authenticate to access the item.
Proxy authentication for O'Reilly is required for access inside or outside the Library. Once the user is logged in, a cookie is set and they should be able to access the database as long as the session is open.
