Nursing is a profession which provides health care to individuals of all ages. Nursing encompasses many activities including health promotion, health maintenance, health care during illness and injury and rehabilitation. Nurses apply knowledge from the biological, physical, behavioral and nursing sciences to care for clients in varied settings.
