What is CINAHL?

The SDCC Library provides you access to a CINAHL, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. Becoming familiar with this database (a collection of publications) is vital to your studies in the Nursing Education program and for your lifelong learning in this career field. The publications found in this database will support your evidence-based practice (EBP) by providing the credible, high-quality information you need to make informed decisions.  Take a few minutes to review the tutorials below -- a few minutes of doing so now will likely save you much time and effort later. If you have questions about the database or how to locate materials, please ask a librarian and we will be happy to help you.
