Oxford Reference Online is a database of encyclopedias and dictionaries. You can find topics in it by exploring by subject area or by using the search box in the top right corner. You will then get list of books that contain information related to your search. Select a book to view the entry (article). See the screenshot below for more details:
Major sections of each entry:
1. Search box.
2. Entry (article) title and source information. You can also click the title of the book to open it and search through it further.
3. Entry text (article). In this case it is a brief definition of the term.
4. Tools for downloading, printing, saving, linking, and more.
